I just love this about Acts. Here is where we see the true integrity of these characters, when they're pushed to the brink. Just weeks ago, Peter denied knowing Jesus because he was afraid for his life.
Now?
Well, when threatened he (and John) smile and say, "We can't help but preach what we KNOW to be true!" They threaten some more and then release them.
